Not one to let grass grow under my feet, I have now got this frame back on the rebuild agenda The fork yokes went in previously. The rack has been fitted temporarily as Tim Stevens, up the road at Beer, who is designing and building some new TTR racks questioned the fact that the genuine Yamaha rack seem...
Hi all. I've decided to sell my bike. She's a 1993 Open Enduro. 11 months MOT, I've had her 2 years but have decided that trail riding is not for me. Tyres are very good (Michelin AC10) I had the rear shock rebuiltby Gibbs Performance a couple of months ago and only used her once since. She has full set...
Hi All, Does anybody have an after market kit to upgrade the front brakes to a larger diameter front disk? I love my TTR, but the brakes are just not real good compared with a WR. In my opinion, they are just a bit weak. The front brakes of the TTR 2001 model have been a bit of a nuisance from day one. I cannot se...
I've had a bit of an issue with then for a while now and they're not relying to emails. Anyone got a number or know if they're still trading? Cheers Spud.

My TTR oil plug was a NIGHTMARE to get out. When the dust all settled it was ruined. I hate the soft metal it was made from so I bought a plug at my auto store. It was really nice, solid steel and 17mm BUT it was about a 1/4inch longer. I was concerned about the extra length (thats what she said) hitting somethi...
Id like to say hi and show some images of my bike. I live in beautiful Pennsylvania USA. I've cleaned up a few things since I took these shots. Ill post new ones after my next ride this Saturday.

Hi, apologies for not joining many years ago but this partly due to my shy nature and partly because of how good the the TTR250 is! To explain, I have never had any real problems that I needed help resolving, have never felt I could offer anything else constructive that someone had not already said and ne...

G'day All, my ttr has developed another oil leak. I fixed the usual one on the head with a plug from Brian. This is messy and leaves a spot every time I park it
hi all, sorry if I'm missing something but the ttr250 manual says to push float pin out in direction of arrow. Other advice on here seems to indicate that the arrow shows the direction the pin was installed in and that you push it out in opposite direction to arrow. Which is it please? Mine looks like so...
Hi all, Just joined the forum, got a new (to me) 2011 TTR250. It's a nice day, only a little snow on the tops, so went for my first ride on the bike. Great fun. The road can be seen in the background and the TTR is perfect for this. Great forum, thanks for all the great information. Iain
Hello everyone here. The spare parts I ordered should arrive by Tuesday. I was re-reading the service manual and come across LUBRICATION question during motor rebuild: On some points it is advised to use "Molybdenum Disulfide Oil" , on others "Lithium Soap grease". Some...
I am looking for a complete rear fender with the taillight. It doesn't have to be in perfect condition as I plan on sanding and painting anyway. Let me know what you have laying around or maybe point me in the direction of one that is available. Not looking to spend a bunch, just looking to change the look o...
No parts available where I live, no any usable mail service. I am going to be in the USA for a couple of weeks in Nov and thought I'd order some parts online and have the mailed to my friends in Virginia. So a question to all the US TTR riders, can you suggest an online retailer I could order from. I need clut...
