I have noticed on my TTR250 2007, when main tank is near empty, before switching to reserve, the throttle seems to stay on, like it is sticking. It has happened twice now at the same time (just before main tank is empty. This is the first Carby motorcycle I have had in years so maybe this is normal. Can anyo...
So this was my first bike and it was around 2007-8 when I started or around 15-16. I have rode other peoples bikes before and could use gears etc but took time for the weight side of it. But I got good. I used to ride BMX and jump the big jumps and even go to down hill MTB hills on my BMX XD but anyway I had a local to...

Hello I'm trying to remove the front wheel of my ttr250 so I can put a new tyre on it. My difficulty is that I can't figure out how to remove the front axle so I can remove the wheel. I would be grateful if a forum member could let me know how. Thanks. The Maniac All sorted now. Certainly a relief. Attached pi...
Well I'm back. My faithful old TTR was stolen 3 years ago. I truly didn't expect to see it again, thinking it had been parted out and sold or similar. However about 2 months ago I got a call from the Police saying they had located it. Apparently some local scumbag was caught riding it. It had been thinly dis...
G'day guys, Just recently got my hands on a TTR250 2006, and actually ended up buying another one 2007 as well, 3 weeks later. I had an Open enduro back in 1996 that i bought new. I loved that bike and had so many adventures in my early twenties. Anyway I won't keep raving on, but I do want to congratulate the...
I just had a new top end put in my bike - not sure yet if this is related or not. When I get on the throttle about 1/4 or 1/2 throttle and hold the throttle in position, the engine oscillates up and down, up and down.... The bike starts and idles perfectly. I've take the carb apart 3 times and cleaned the jets a...

Can someone please tell me the length of the speedo cable. Bought one from Fleabay that advertised as being for my model TTR250 but its too short, just barely reaches directly from the hub to speedo. Certainly won't go through the cable holders.

Hey all, I can't seem to dial in the free play and reach of my front brake lever. Even with the reach adjustment dialled in as close to the bars as possible the lever still sits far out. And there's so much free play that the lever hits my knuckles when using the brakes. Here's a video showing the issue: htt...

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. When I have not started by TTR for a few month. when I come to start it it turns over easily but doesn’t show any hint of wanting to start. I then try it on the kick start and there is very little resistance. after 20 or 30 kicks resistance builds up...
Still wanted - Raid rear footrests and brackets. Please let me know if you have such a thing. Someone, somewhere, must have a set. They're rarely still attached to the bike, which means they're in a draw in a garage or similar, but they must exist somewhere. I am located in the East Midlands and I am willi...
What companies are out there that supply heavier rear springs? Teknik in Australia did have stock but not currently, I’m chasing a heavy spring due To long range tank & luggage
If you are thinking of buying a 350 kit, or rebuilding your engine, then there are loads of new and used parts in the Totally TTRs shop here. A couple of examples are crankcases here and a complete bottom end here (amazing value for money this one). It can sometimes take a while to get the crankcases bored...
