Its maybe a a copy of a GYTR tailpipe. I was going to try and repack it but when i pulled it apart it was impossible with out cutting a weld i think. Also the porferated inner pipe is only 70% the length of the muffler. Think i will take it to a muffler shop and see what he reckons. -- Edited by Cubber on Friday 2...

I started removeing all electrical componts & wireing loom.. The new loom was not a plug & play set up... It has no starter circuit... I managed to add a few wires to get the starter to work..but I cooked the starter button... It's drawing to meany amps.. " yes I am useing the starter soleno...

Would like to put on an FMF Q core pipe but not modify jetting etc.. Would the bike run ok? I just like the looks and the weight savings. I hate messing with carbs, air boxs, I just want to leave it stock, Would it run lean or rich? any suggestions appreciated! Thanks!

Got on to this cheap rear rack. 30 bucks australian. As i dont have a welder and cannot weld this jig had to be made for the welder bloke So he gets the right angles. Sorry if pics are sideways. Its 50/50 chance using an iphone.

just picked up TTR250 cylinder with no sleeve.... Dose anyone know the dia of the sleeve where it goes in the crank case ? I have a old nissan sleeve that may have enough metal in it to machine to fit.. 72mm ID / 86mm OD would like to go as big in bore as I can with out having to pull the motor down to bore the cases...

On my new to me 2003 ttr 250 I noticed that the rear of the front fender seems so short. I hate to have all the nasty dirt and water flinging on my cylinder head! Is this an issue? Is there an adapter or a different fender to use or will this mess up the cooling aspect and block air flow? Thanks for any feedback!...

Just wondering if it's possible to use the gauges from an XT350 (speedo at least). I know you guys can use xt225 gauges, but how do you hook up a speedo cable to the front hub if your blue model only has the Yamaha odometer? Trimmed the airbox snorkel inlet. As anticipated, the fuel screw was turned out to compensate (out about 3.75 turns now). As in the title. The standard handlebar mounts have an offset which by default sets the bars back around 5-10mm towards the rider.
