Modded the chain guard to make it lower for the 52t sprocket Didn't have any 6mm aluminium so made do with 2 x 3mm pieces, the standard bracket that is welded to the swing arm is 6mm thick Haven't pet the wheel and chain on yet but the 52 tooth is about 20mm larger than the 44 tooth The finished product, once I...

Any of u guys run aftermarket cams? If so, what was your experience? Was there a noticeable difference in performance? I'm not looking for someone to say " if u want more power, than get a different bike!". I'm investing a lot into my ttr and I plan on keeping it for quite some time. More power i...

I'm in Canada. I'm riding at sea level mostly. Just ordered the tusk DS kit, sprockets and chain kit ( my chain is fine, just wanted the gearing and a spair chain), and an FMF PC4 with spark arrestor. I ordered it all on ebay. I'm pretty pumped! I'll have to obviously do some jetting to accommodate for t...

I decided I needed a small rack so I made this one. I included a couple of holders for some tyre levers. My small bag fits on nicely... As the indicators were getting some grief, and the existing registration plate holder was on its last legs, I made this too... The rack has seen a few tumbles over th...

I've been trying to find a clear answer on the whole throttle stop adjustment screw mod. Some say back it out or remove it completely. Others say that the carb opens up to its full potential regardless of backing out the screw. Any chance we can get to the bottom of this? I understand that removing it co...

I really liked the chain tensioner setup on my old 02 WR250f. I now have a 2006 TTR250 and was wondering if the swing arms between the 2 machines are interchangeable. If they are, I would probably have better luck finding one from a YZ250f. I'm also planning on eventually installing a wrf/YZF front end....

hi,wondering what people think of the motad pipe for the ttr..have just bought one and seems to me like the power has shifted slightly my old pipe,a loud crd absolute, would lift the front wheel if the throttle is snapped open at a walking pace, all be it with a bit of yanking on the bars, now it won't but w...

So I think the wifey is going to get me all the parts I need to uncork my TTR for Christmas. I'll be giving her links to the exact products of course. Hi all, I've got a 2011 TTR250. Bought brand new. Just about to take in for first service, etc. I was wondering what exhausts fit this bike. I can find a heap of aftermarket exhausts that fit 99 - 06, but I don't know if any of them would fit my bike. I don't really want to fork out for a GYTR exhaust, because th...

Does anyone have an idea how much performance improvement you get by fitting both a shorter header and a Morad pipe? I think the Motad gets you about one more pony, what about the header combined? Its maybe a a copy of a GYTR tailpipe. I was going to try and repack it but when i pulled it apart it was impossible with out cutting a weld i think. On my new to me 2003 ttr 250 I noticed that the rear of the front fender seems so short. I hate to have all the nasty dirt and water flinging on my cylinder head! Is this an issue?
