Custom Seat Height
(Preview)
Slightly different to the usual request. I'm six foot four, with a 35 inch inside leg. Is there a way of making the seat taller? I have been looking round for taller seat foam, like you can get for XR's and KDX's but no one makes some for a TTR 250. I would like more space from seat to foot-peg, I don't care abo...

Will bash plate interfere with oil drain?
(Preview)
If I get that very cool bash plate from totallyttrs will I have to take it off every time I change the oil? Looks like it will clear and doesn't have to be removed to get at the drain but I thought I'd ask. (This is for a 2003 US model, with custom stand, as pictured.) Also, it looks like it just bolts on where...

Doing mods. Need jetting advise.

I'm in Canada. I'm riding at sea level mostly. Just ordered the tusk DS kit, sprockets and chain kit ( my chain is fine, just wanted the gearing and a spair chain), and an FMF PC4 with spark arrestor. I ordered it all on ebay. I'm pretty pumped! I'll have to obviously do some jetting to accommodate for t...

Throttle stop, myth or fact?
(Preview)
I've been trying to find a clear answer on the whole throttle stop adjustment screw mod. Some say back it out or remove it completely. Others say that the carb opens up to its full potential regardless of backing out the screw. Any chance we can get to the bottom of this? I understand that removing it co...

Possible Swingarm update...
(Preview)
I really liked the chain tensioner setup on my old 02 WR250f. I now have a 2006 TTR250 and was wondering if the swing arms between the 2 machines are interchangeable. If they are, I would probably have better luck finding one from a YZ250f. I'm also planning on eventually installing a wrf/YZF front end....

Hi all, I've got a 2011 TTR250. Bought brand new. Just about to take in for first service, etc. I was wondering what exhausts fit this bike. I can find a heap of aftermarket exhausts that fit 99 - 06, but I don't know if any of them would fit my bike. I don't really want to fork out for a GYTR exhaust, because th...
