Sigma6 jet kit?

Was just searching on ebay for a jet kit. I'm planning on eventually putting a FMF PC4, a TwinAir air filter, and trimming the snorkel down. So, I came across the sigma6 stage 1-3 complete carb kit. Appearently, the company will send whatever jets and setting recommendations are required for each model and which elevation you're riding at. Seems pretty promising. Just wondering if any of u guys run this particular kit, or something else? Maybe JD?

Got one for my wrf .
Its a kit with varies size main and pilot jets and a guide to tuning .
Good for experimenting if you don,t know where to start but as all the jetting knowledge is on this site i would just order what i needed .
If in the uk allens performance have jets ,needles and any other carb parts .
Its probably better to decide what you want and order up instead of getting a general mix .
Nothing wrong with any of the stuff supplied by 6sigma just cheaper to go and look up the forum and buy what you need .

Makes sense. I was under the impression that the kit would've came with needles with different tapers and possibly a fuel/air screw. If it only comes with the jets, then I'll surely just pick up a few at the local shop here. They usually give me main jets at no charge ( as long as I only get a couple). With the mods I'm planning, I shouldn't have to go up too far in size anyway. Plus, I could fine tune with the needle and fuel/air screw. Thanx for saving me some $$$$.

You get main jets x3, a pilot jet, a wood drill bit?, washers for the main jet (not needed) and basic instructions. The good thing is that the Sigma jets are made with the same numbering system and taper as the Teikei jets.

If you are buying Mikuni jets, the numbering system is completely different and is based on flow rate not measured in mm. It has been said that a #140 Mikuni small round main jet is the equivalent of a Teikei #150 but I am yet to confirm this.

I just received the 6sigma jet kit in the mail. You say that the washers included are for the main jets, but you say they are not needed. Is this a for sure thing? Would it all depend on float height? I just wanna make sure I do it right. The kit came with 3 metal washers, and one thicker plastic washer. Is the plastic one for the pilot? The instructions that I received aren't specific to the blue TTR250R.

Like I said- Discard the metal washers, plastic washer, drill bit and wood screw. They are not for a TTR250! You can use the metal washers if you absolutely need to raise the jet needle up. They do not go under the main jet or nozzle, they go under the jet needle C-clip. IMO- not recommended!

While you are inside the carb, check that the main nozzle has an O-ring.  I bought one from my local parts store for 10c.
