WTB Brackets to hold blinkers needed

I'm converting my Blue (USA) TT250R for on road use and need to design brackets to hold the flashers.

I want to buy already made ones, and wonder if anyone would have them handy from a European TTR.

Hi there

The blue TTRs from 2004 onwards in the UK have a different headlight to the US model and their brackets look like this:

If you have the standard US headlight then I think you would need brackets like these:

What do you reckon?

Standard US indeed. I see they get installed on top of the light holder bracket. Are they available somehow or does it look like I'm going to have to make them?

Likewise, would you by any chance have a picture of the rear blinkers bracket?

Thank you very much for your help!

I am probably going to bore everyone to death but feel the need to explain in a bit more detail biggrin

The blue TTRs in the USA had a blue version of the headlight that is fitted to all the white metal-tanked UK Open Enduros.

US headlight is like this:

UK headlight is exactly the same fitting but in white:

The white metal-tanked OE TTRs in the UK had a different style of indicator fitted compared to the later blue UK TTR - see a full set with their brackets below - front indicators at top of pic:

Perhaps the pic below shows the front and rear brackets more clearly:

I don't know what fittings your indicators have but am guessing they won't fit those brackets?

On my project TTR pictured in my earlier message, I have fitted a US headlight to accommodate the digital speedo and wanted to fit the genuine Yamaha indicators from the blue plastic-tanked model as shown below:

Indicator set.jpg

That's a long way around of explaining why the indicator brackets are separate items and installed on top of the headlight brackets.

The brackets I used are genuine Yamaha items from a 2003 UK TTR250 which used the Australian style headlight which has its own fitting brackets. The pic below shows both front and rear brackets:

Later UK blue TTRs had a combined headlight and indicator bracket.

If that helps, which of those brackets do you reckon you need?

An easy way out on the front indicators is to mount them directly into the headlight surround - I had no problems with my installation pictured below:
