Hi all, i am a brand new owner of a TT-R. when i first went to the ttr.com site there was a great page explaining what to look out for when buying a used bike, with a piece about how to tell the age of the bike with the number off of the stearing colum, and the associated dates to numbers etc. i went and got the num...
Has anyone tidied up, cut or removed the rear end i.e the black plastic that secures the number plate and plate light? Any ideas, suggestions photos would be great. Its a standard 2005 blue TTR. Thanks Colin
Does anyone think it would be a good idea to have an events section where we can discuss our plans. Would be good to get together with other riders at events and perhaps organise ride out days??? Is anyone else coming to play on the Cambrian Rally?
Hi guys, I just bought a pretty nice TTR250 (2005 model). I've already made a bunch of modifications, (mostly cosmetic) but I need some advice from the group here on a few things. Rather than ask outright, I'll read some previous threads and see if I can find what I need. It's my 48th motorcycle... been r...
The 16th/17th of October is fast approaching and I'll be loading my bike on the trailer and heading for Llandovery, Mid Wales. It doesn't seem to matter how many of these events I do, I always get edgey as the date gets closer ... or is that excitement. Either way there is always a sense of relief when you'...
I rarely get asked for these but have now managed to get some in stock for any owner looking for a new replacement - see http://www.totallyttrs.com/TTR250_sprockets.html Brian
Hi Just signed up to the forum, I've got a 2002 TTR250 and am based in Manchester. I'm still a novice, learning loads and having great fun on the bike! I got hooked on trail riding from a trip to Lyndon's Toro Trail outfit in Spain and have not looked back! Dave
Been out on a few dirty trails this last few days and the bike was fairly dirty, so when I got home got the power washer out and was doing the usual clean. After I'd washed all the crap off her I turned around to see a jet of petrol squirting from the underside of the tank.... So I took the tank off and had a prob...
Hi All What size tyre is best and/or the biggest for the TTR, this is the tyres I was thinking of buying, anyone ever used one ?? they say it's a 30/70 road/trail tyre. Dunlop D603 About the sizes, does this mean that a 120/80-18 62P D603 is 120mm wide x 80mm high x 18" diameter, I searched the dunlop s...
Some of you may recall Brian posted my article up on the Yahoo group about sorting the flat spot on the later models. If anyone requires any help with this give me a shout. Since making the alterations on my bike I have fitted an FMF Q4 tail pipe so it required further alteration to the jets and its a complet...
I havecopied this from the old Yahoo Group. Just wondering if anyone has tried doing the repair?BrianRear shock repair.I was worried that parts would be proprietary and possibly unobtainable but Ihave just found an amazing "show and tell" on our equivalent Russian forum whichgoes thr...
Hi all, I'm from Brockton in Shropshire and have been a proud TTR owner for 6 years. Some of you may know me from the Trail Bike and Rally forum which has sadly now disbanded. I had a 600 Belgarda for four years and ran the following site; http://www.freewebs.com/ttr600-belgarda/ After some test...

Should they be there? can I buy them and if so where from and how do they attach? Sorry for all the questions but I think I will miss not having a grab rail or two Thanks

Hi y'all. Just bought me a 1993 tt250r and very pleased with it! Can't wait to get out and do some proper rides on it! Thought i'd join you fellow enthusiasts. Dan.
Any ideas welcome, my 1993 ttr blows the fuse with no real reason started mid enduro and everything has been checked ie stator, ignition, rectifier, all conections thought i had solved it but after 50 miles started again as soon as you switch ignition on it blows. after sitting at side of track for half...

Just looking to get a bit of a group to get together to ride with in Victoria preferable round Toolangi state forest or nearby areas. Mainly on weekends for a bit of recreation riding. If you’re interested would be awesome.
Hi All My first post here all the way from the Hazelbrook in the Blue Mountains, about 100 klicks west of Sydney. So G'day to all the TT Riders, and will be one myself in the very near future. So a bit of history, haven't been on a dirt bike for 25 years except for a blast around a soccer field on a DRZ250 a littl...
Just fitted an Acerbis vision and a pair of acerbis bush gaurds. The acerbis vision throws enough light out for normal night time riding but not sure about off road night time escapades. The handgaurds and light make the front of the bike look great I think.
