This was just run in OZ, 7000km in 14 days, Mountains, snow, desert. APC Rally site and thread on ADV Rider. I wonder how crazy, stupid or possible it would be to do on a TTR250. One guy completed it on his Vstrom 650, another guy did it on a WR250R, another on a DRZ400, plus many of the usual suspect long dist...
This is quite a common problem on TTRs and I have come across some ingenious repairs! The blue headlight surrounds are hard to come by second hand so it is worth repairing them. I apologise in advance for the poor quality of the pics. I think I had the flash suppressed I carry a fairly heavy Slime compre...
I am frequently asked about what after-market exhaust is best for the TTR. The requirement seems to be that it is light, reasonably quiet and sensibly priced. The problem is that I can't find anyone in the UK selling such exhausts. Has anyone else found one they can recommend? There seems to be a gap in t...

Hello all, I am looking for a good condition Raid tank and seat to upgrade my white OE Supermoto. I'm not too bothered about the cosmetic condition of the paintwork on the tank, provided it has no nasty dents, rust or leaks. Likewise, the condition of the seat cover is unimportant, provided that the foa...
The important bit has broken off - see pic below. I am pretty sure it can't be repaired. Anyone got one off an old shock they would swap for some beer tokens? Also, anyone got any top bearing collars going spare? I always seem to break these as they are so brittle

I did about a 30 mile trail ride on my ttr last night, there was a bit of road work and a little mid but most of it was quite rough going stony track surface and plenty of large puddles! The trail tyres that are on the bike have possibly seen better days and are quite lethal on the mud, nearly lost the front end a...
