My side stand can be a real pain to kick down/up again.

I've dismantled the linkage, greased it and nipped it back up.

It continues to misbehave!

Seems it needs a bearing or something for it to work properly, don't have this problem on my DRZ or CBR600, or any other bike I've owned.

Ideas please?

There is supposed to be a plain bush in the frame called a "Sidestand Bush/Collar" - Part number 90387-1003G

Maybe that is missing?
