Little bit of plastic on end of indicator switch stalk

Does anyone happen to have a broken indicator switch unit lying around? Mine works fine but the bloomin little bit of plastic on the end of the tiny indicator stalk disappeared on my last ride. I think it was held in by a minature screw underneath and i guess that vibrated out.

I'm selling the bike soon and I'd rather not sell it with the sharp-edged bit of metal currently sticking out of the switchgear. If anyone has one or something like it and could take the time to stick it in the post, more than happy to pay a few quid and cover postage etc. Here's hoping!

thanks

James

There's a chance you'll get one to fit from any bike with a similar type indicator switch, but it's only a chance. Or you could try fabricating some sort of blob from chemical metal or plastic resin type stuff. If you can be bothered you might be able to make it removable with its own screw if you grease it before applying the goo.

I think an original replacement might be hard to find without getting replacement switchgear.

Good luck whatever.

Thanks Andy, that all makes sense. Fingers crossed that my local breaker has a pile of old rubbish switchgear i might be able to look at but a bodge looks more likely.
