Hi, has anyone out there got a standard silencer for sale? Not sure how this website works, can we pm each other? Any way let me know via this website if you can help and we'll take it from there. Cheers!

Ooops, yeah - the good old UK. It's a truly international forum! When I saw the name 'nwrider' I thought you might be as far away as Liverpool (north west of here)!!!biggrin

Hi, probably too late but I have a brand new genuine and unused  Yamaha TTR silencer somewhere in my garage. If you are still in need of one, I will try to dig it out!

Cheers

I hope that this isn't bad form, mattclarkson, but if eeyore hasn't taken up your offer, I certainly am interested.  I just posted a wanted advert for a stock exhaust muffler.

Hi! No, I don't believe its bad form! It's still available as nobody has made contact, all I need to do is find it in my shed. It's new and never fitted to a bike. The part number is 5GF-14710-00-00 from a 2006 model. I will dig it up and let you know.

I just realized that I made the same mistake as eeyore, matclarkson.  I didn't realize you were in the U.K.  I am all the way in CA, U.S.  Shipping something as heavy as a muffler (silencer) across the Atlantic and across another continent will probably be cost prohibitive. confuse

It's easy enough to edit your profile to add a signature to include your location - useful  in situations like this even if its only the country wink

Hi just wondering if eeyore took up the offer of the exhaust. If not have you located it yet and any idea how much you want for it.

Thanks Mick from Lancashire.
