My 325 looks after me very well so, with an MOT soon due, I decided to treat it to some new bits There was a bit of play in the rear wheel bearings so I stripped them out and the cause was obvious. Water had got in and, with it, the dreaded rust The cause of the water ingress was grooved spacers allowing water...
I have been looking at the blue plastic fork guard to try and tidy up the front end of my ttr. Has anyone fitted one before? What's do you think of them and what's the colour match like? Any pictures of it fitted?

Does anyone use plain, non O/X-ring chains on their TTR, if so, what sort of conditions do you generally ride (dry, wet, mud, dust etc)? I've got a tub of Putoline boil in chain wax that I use on my push-bike chains and thought that with decent chain cleaning and boiling in the wax would provide adequate p...

Hey all. Love this bike. Still saving for a fmf q4 pipe. In the meantime is it worth cutting out the restrictor in the end of the header pipe with the standard Aussie muffler? Will it make any difference power wise? Previous owner already cut snorkel out Thanks guys Leigh

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the uk headlamp lense and those used in Europe? I am thinking of taking my bike out to France and leaving it at our French house which would mean re-registering and getting through the French scrutineering process. As the speedo has both miles and kil...
Just a word of warning to you all. My blue 2005 TTR was stolen from my garage overnight. The padlock was cropped and I didn't hear a sound. This took place in a quiet residential street in Hertford, Hertfordshire. This is not the first dirt bike to go missing locally in recent times. I' ve only owned this f...

Hi all, I took my TTR to the mechanic because there was a loud ticking coming from the engine when under moderate load.... Mechanic's Comments: "Big end worn, little end on rod elongated. Bore & piston scored, cam chain has wear." This is the big end (5MB MOV) slapping around. He said it...

Just thought I would share a magical view of the Atherton Tablelands. It was a good (long) ride and well worth it for a view like this.. Enjoy! Jarrah -- Edited by TT-R250M on Wednesday 25th of June 2014 02:09:25 AM
Just wondering if anyone knew of a decent motorbike repair shop / mechanic in or around the Southam, Leamington Spa or Coventry area? Just moved to the area and need a 'go-to' person to help with the TTR. Thanks in advance.

I am helping a friend bring his TTR back to legality after looping it out on an enduro a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully the photos are self explanatory: It isn't possible just to put a long bolt and penny washer in from the top as it stops the stop/tail light bolting down fully. Has anyone got an elegant sol...
