Never knew they were this popular - STOLEN TTR

Just a word of warning to you all. My blue 2005 TTR was stolen from my garage overnight. The padlock was cropped and I didn't hear a sound. This took place in a quiet residential street in Hertford, Hertfordshire. This is not the first dirt bike to go missing locally in recent times.

I' ve only owned this for 3 months and never been troubled by thieves before buying an enduro bike. I believe I was targetted so be careful on leaving or washing your bike outside your own house.

The bike had a Union Jack sticker headlight surround, motad pipe, Endurance digital speedo and TRF stickers from 2011,2012 and 2013 on the right hand panel. On the left hand panel was a sticker for EDZ and Yamaha lube. There were Yamaha badges on the tank but these were not the originals. Acerbis ahnd guards were fitted but these were quite badly worn.

If anyone sees parts or the bike offered for sale on a forum elsewhere a quick PM would be much appreciated. The index number was VU 05 YVG

Really sorry to hear that Nick cry

It's worth putting details on the TBM and national TRF forums and Facebooking it also to get maximum coverage. Some recent pics would be helpful?

We have had two dirtbikes stolen over the years and both were found within a mile of where they were taken. One in a side street after the thieves had pushed it away from outside a pub and the other on a local trading estate where youngsters let off steam.

Just saying, don't ignore a good look around locally and let your friends and neighbours know.

Good luck in getting it back!

Brian

Bad news, mate. My mum lives in Hertford and I know the area well.

Good luck. I hope it turns up.
