Put rego on the TTR today so went out for a spin around the dirt roads, 70kms all up & only 7kms on the black top from my place. The TTR felt really good, I did my steering head bearings a little while back & after the last ride had to re-adjust. When I was chasing the handling issue ( head bearings ) I f...
I have been in email conversation with Peter Gray of Wilderness Wheels Morocco. They run a small fleet of blue TTRs alongside their KTM 450 EXCs. Peter says they find the TTR to be a totally competent off road bike in Morocco and is his preference over the KTMs for a ride over the mountains. He has rece...

2006TTR 250, set for a couple years in friends garage, was given to me. I cleaned carb and changed oil and air filter and put a new battery in it, it would run on idle with the choke pulled out but would die upon giving any amount of throttle. I bought and replace all new jets and still the same issue. it ru...

Hi everyone. Was out off-roading today and of course broke another brake lever - not a problem as I have some spares. BUT, a mate of mine has these fancy levers for clutch and brake that sort of flex so they don;t break off so easily. Does anyone now of how to get hold of these for a 2005 TTR250 ? I have had a loo...
I just bought a very nice 2002 TTR250 in great shape and I was wondering if an aftermarket pipe would really help, or should I just open up the stock pipe? I don't mind spending a little money if it truly makes a difference, but I don't care about the weight reduction and appearance, etc. I would only wan...

I know that it is a good idea to change brake fluid every few years but hadn't appreciated quite how old fluid can deteriorate over time until I opened a front brake master cylinder/reservoir today. I had already removed quite a bit of coagulated nasty gunk before I thought to take a couple of photos. Yu...
I just joined the TTR revolution. I purchased this 2000 TTR250 3 months ago, it was a one elderly owner from new and only ridden on the road. It needed a bit of a freshen up and I got carried away. this is the end result. Cheers Moz from Oz Moz
2006 TTR 250 For Sale. Lack of use and time forces reluctant sale. Owned for a number of years now. Original bike, low mileage. Pictures speak for themselves. It could do with a few bits and pieces to make it A1 as it has been off the road for a couple of years. Anyone seriously interested should call me t...
