When re-assembling, the instructions are to use 550mm of oil then adjust the level to 130mm from the top of the inner fork tube (fully compressed). Talking to a friend of mine the other day we discussed why the majority of bikes have cable operated clutches. He rides trials and his Montesa (Honda engine) has an hydraulic clutch and it is much lighter than a cable one even when we'll lubricated. Anyone any thoughts please?
