Good evening all, I've recently purchased a 1995 grey import TTR250 (wasn't registered until 2003) for myself as I've always wanted to do some trails, as well as road legal commutes to and from a short distance to work, Not so specifically on a TTR250, but this one came up on my doorstep - and it was road...

8 years ago today we were up the Flinders ranges, I had my XR400, my wife was on her XT225 & my mate Dave on his TT250R. This turned out to be the last ride on the XR400 as my wife said to get a bike with electric start, hence I bought the TTR the day after we got back. Both the XR & XT got sold off.

I spoke with the guys there and they said if no one picked it up by Friday it was going in the shredder. I couldn't leave it and decided to bring her home with me. I started with a bike that had no tank, seat, clu...

In this configuration it was nice and strong and previously ran 21.5 hp on the dyno. (Up from 17.5hp). Changing just to the Totally TTR's shorty head...
Air cleaner servicing would be the worst job on a dirt bike, pretty dusty here in South Australia so I really need to keep on top of the air cleaner servicing. Lucky for me both the WRR & TTR take the same filter. I have tried many different brands but found the Twin Air to be the best for me. In the old da...
