Just signed up, been looking for a way of getting back off road and settled on a TTR. Just need to buy one now So, greetings from Mancunia and what've you got for me haha. Grandish, maybe a bit more
As far as I am aware, my TTR pulls like a train right through the rev range. Well, a small train. But there is a slight bog between 1/4 and 1/2 throttle, but only if held there for a sustained period, i.e. cruising down a long straight 30MPH road, then when you go to take off when the speed limit increases, a...
I'm not sure where to put this, so I'll stick it in here. Those of you running two sets of wheels, with different gear ratios, how do you do it? I would like a 14/48 on my road set and a 13/50 for my off-road set. Looking at the chain reference stickie, I would need a 110 link chain and a 108 link chain, two chai...
Hi all, I'll keep it short and sweet, I'm tarting up the TTR now I have a CRM 250 to fill the void. While I'm doing it, I thought, seeing as the clutch is starting to slip a bit, I'll change the plates. Now, Brian sells two kits, EBC and Psychic, is the EBC worth the extra moolah? Will it last longer, I am quite...
It just goes to show the TTR250 can still be competitive in the hands of a good rider. Juan won the trophy in the under 600cc trail bike class. See here and here Here is a pic of our hero Juan VíctorGómez Pérez aboard his Raid about to head out onto the circuit to start the Time Trial : I have only just foun...

When I changed the gearing on my old Fireblade the speedo stopped being accurate, will a change of the front sprocket do the same on the OE, I thought I read someone mention this somewhere. Will be contacting Brian once the salt has gone from the roads regards new chain and sprockets but need to make sure...

Hello everyone my TTR has currently a 13/44 set up which I dont like. It feels far to tall and I don't seem to have a lot of low down power? i was thinking of going 14/50? Would this give me more low down drive?
I read on here a while back (but can't find it now) that there's an extra power supply that can be utilized out of the TTR Cdi box. I'm looking to hook up a cigar lighter style power outlet to my bike to use for an air pump, charging phone, helmet cam, etc. do any of u guys know what steps I should take to wire it u...
