Hi all I just bought a 1995 TT250RA in Australia. I am finding it really difficult to find any decent information about the bike, even from Yamaha themselves. Especially the carby other than on here I can't find any information at all. Oh well I'll keep looking.
So, just finished putting mine back together, runs really well with a WR450 Enduro pipe and drilled airbox, no flatspots but still a bit rich with a sooty plug and is an arse to start when hot or cold But, when you do get it going, it goes great and the most fun I have had under 60mph....Best mod are the Apri...

i was changing the oil and found the bike had a washable metal mesh oil filter, i had the wrong filter sent so cleaned it and stuck it back in, are these any good? I can see the benefits for touring where you only need to find oil but i would thinkna standard filter would catch smaller particles
Took advantage of the cool day and had a few hours out in the forest it's been raining over the last couple of weeks so theres even a bit of mud . The tracks were nice and grippy with a couple of hills being a bit too wet and halted forward progress .it was my first ride on a new Pirelli mt21 on the back which is g...
Got out and about today as was nice and mild and not raining. Bloody good ride was a lot of deep sticky clay mud about which made sliding about in it fun.
