Im new here. I picked up a ttr 250 last year so I could go riding with my grandson. We both have ttrs and we think they are great bikes our purposes. He is 10 years old and just a beginner, Im 56 and a medical problem forced me to quit riding 20 years ago, so Im going against Dr.s orders by riding again, but thats too bad. I really missed riding for all those years and I love riding, especially with my grandson. We would like to meet other people to ride with so if you are in the general KC MO area, give me a holler.

Welcome to the forum, Allan (& grandson)

It's a bit of a trek to get to your place and my snorkel's not all that big so I'll miss out on this opportunity.  biggrin

Welcome to the madness Allen and Grandson,
I have a similar story. I bought my TTR a few years ago, to ride with my grandson (13 now) who is on a KTM 65 which he has outgrown. Were looking for a bigger bike for him while I do some work on mine. Nothing beats showing the younger generation such a great way to have fun with all the techno-carp that exists today. Be careful while re-adjusting to riding after such a lapse. In the last 3 years, I have had accidents that have resulted in a broken wrist, lost a tooth and am not even sure if I actually remember the 1970's. confuse
