My friends ride WR 250's and CR 250x's. When we're scooting down a trail and come to a puddle, they can hit the throttle, lift the front, and skate over it without getting soaked. My TTR can't, and I always just have to plow through them. I just dropped down to a 12 tooth sprocket. It does give me more lift in...

Anyone want some cheap pivot pegs these are the old Mk 1 pivot pegs, brand new in original packaging or very good copys these are almost twice as wide and about 15mm longer than the OEM pegs I have a set from my old DRZ wreck I was going to fix up and just held them up to the TTR the other day and they seem to fit w...
See here The spokes on the earlier TTR wheels (usually the purple or gold rimmed ones) can rust quite badly and are difficult to clean up. If yours are really bad or you have a damaged set of spokes then Steve is selling a set of spokes off a 2004 model where the spokes themselves (not the nipples) are stain...

Couldn't find anything on my problem, I'm sure it's an easy fix but it would be a bit easier if I new where to start. Hello everyone! I'm about to have my barrel machined out for a +2mm OS wiseco kit. I was just curious if anyone could chime in on reliability thus far? I'll be running the stock liner. I know there are a few posts about this kit but was curious how impressions may or may not have changed? Thanks! -Matt...

Damn - just wrote out an entire 1000 words and lost it as it timed out. Aaaaaargh! Ah well, I shall begin anew. So planning on an oil cooler to a) increase oil capacity and cooling whilst b) being a tight bastard. Most oil cooler kits for bikes are ridiculously expensive. Most I've seen are more than $400...

Anyone know of any sticker kits that would fit the acerbis 23lt XR tank? Obviously it won't be a Ttr specific but I was just after something to break up the big slab of white. I like the enjoy mfg kits and realise I could probably cut the tank graphic down to suit somehow but that's a bit of a gamble and not ch...

Hi from the often most liveable city Melbourne! Well I finally got around to joining the forum, not because I finally bought a TTR250, I’ve owned mine since June 2003! But I thought I better write up some stuff before it dies (do TTRs ever die?) or before I sell it. Wait, what sell it? Maybe might just have...
