2006 TTR250 front brake caliper pistons

hey all,

so I had a seized front brake on my 2006 TTR250

both of the caliper pistons are way to gone to save. so I need  new set.

I have already ordered new seals but I still need the pistons.

the allballs kit does not come with pistons. does any brand of aftermarket sell them.

Yamaha wants 90 Canadian for the pair.

Hi Alex

I just popped a piston out of a front caliper and it measures 27mm diameter and a tad over 28mm tall. It is possible to buy reasonably priced after-market pistons in the UK. If you are interested in a quote then it might be worth asking ttrsteve - you never know! 

90 Canadian Dollars is about £55 GBP.

Just ordered some aftermarket Front and Rear Piston and seal kits, good addition for the shop. Should be in the Totally TTRs e-shop by tomorrow smilesmile
