Feeling chuffed. My brother and his mate dropped through unexpectedly today on their road bikes. Asked if I wanted to come for a quick dash over to the reefton pub. My lovely wife gave me a leave pass and it was on. Didn't leave until just after 4pm. Had the throttle pinned all the way past Lake Mountain al...
Good morning everyone! I have a 2000 Yamaha ttr250 that I recently acquired from someone that knew nothing about proper maintenance of anything mechanical I noticed the rear shock is very soft on my bike even with the remote damper dialed all the way up to the stiffest settings. I also noticed lots...

Having removed the cylinder bolts and started to move the cylinder some emulsified oil (with water droplets in it) dribbled out! Blow me d...

Wouldn't have seen this one coming: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a9e_1474618472 I ride solo regularly. I carry a 100' rope in my pack but it wouldn't have helped me in this case. Very rare to find open pit shafts in the US anymore, thankfully!
My front light brake light switch has go all Italian on me it's always been abit dodgy but worked all times and recently just not worked at the rear brake switch is fine so not bulb or rear light itself, the main fuse other day did blow and since then hasn't worked.
Ok I know alot of people don't like them, but what's the consensus on here? There was one fitted to my Super Sherpa and I liked it. Prime for 5 seconds, a little choke, turn the key, running engine... Turn engine off... Walk away with no worries. I'm also used to FI bikes and this fuel tap on the TTR has me co...

Not sure if he was a forum member and I did not get his name Just wondering if it was anyone from here and did my advice help or did you get it sorted? Steve ...
fell on a stump and busted my front sprocket guard as seen in the picture. Anyone have one or know of the cheapest place I could get one? I've found the part for $115 online which seems outrageous for such a small piece of metal

I'm still after a pair of gold wheels for my JPS project bike. If you have some gold DID rims on hubs for a different bike I'd consider them to respoke on TTR hubs. Cheers, Simon.

Hi if I manage to get the snapped off jet tube/nozzle out of the carb, can one still buy that part or would someone have one laying about to sell ? Cheers mark
At last a bike ride in 2017. The increasing grandchild count, and various other 'better half' induced activities have held back an outing but yesterday a nice 3 hour wander around my local favourites was possible. A two Loch, one Glen stint was all it needed to chase the winter blues. Gareloch, Loch Lo...
Hi folk. anyone got a carb for sale as I.ve just snapped the main jet tube off in the the carb, looks like been put in with loctite ffs. And one of the float needle holder has been snapped off and looked like some kind of glue was holding it together, not sure if can be repaired.
