Hi all, I picked up a 2004 TTR 250 a few weeks ago. Yes, that's right. Another one. I bought a used TTR-250, a 2005 model, a bit over a year ago. The basic bike is a ripper, but as soon as you have to work on them it quickly becomes apparent that an XR it certainly isn't. Still, it's a nice ride. I just fitted a 21 litre Acerbis tank, so the front suspension is n...
Blue model 35,000km with little dirt work but i do get up it through the gears on the road at times. oil changed every 1,500-2,000 kms , although i dont know the first 10,000 km history of the bike. Will try and explain the noise. Bike starts from cold and runs great with a 5min warm up at idle(no noises). As...

I was just stripping out a cylinder head tonight and found a couple of very odd "things" under an exhaust valve - see photos below. I thought first off they were shells but I crushed them and the walls were thick and crumbly - almost like rotten wood. Any ideas what they are or were? Brian
Just an idea, how about a sub forum just for product reviews. Users could leave feed back on products they use or have tested. Opinions on stuff like bike gear, eg tyres, hydration packs, gear bags, helmets, gloves, goggles etc. I see there is one for GPS helmet cams etc but that topic is a bit limited....
Hi! I recently bought a 2006 TTR250 Supermoto, and just wanted to post it up in the forum. It had 4,500kms when I bought it, 6000 now. The person I bought it off had it in storage for 6 months, and so it ran quite bad but all it needed was a carby clean, runs great now. I think he said that the motard wheels were...
