i am going through my bike bits and have come across a spare ttr carb, good visual condition but not to sure about gaskets/diaphragm,no broken parts, everything moves freely etc, i got ages ago with a complete go-cart motor and forgot all about it,i have no use for it anymore.is it worth buying/fitting a service kit for it or just put it on an auction site as is for anybody who wants it to jet/service etc themselves?,

thanks

martin

Wow, aren't you're a lucky chap, Martin?  biggrin

If I was wanting to get shot of one I'd hold an auction and dispose of it to the highest bidder.  wink

A complete carb, working or not, is a sought after item and eagerly wanted.

Martyn

hi martyn,
cheers for the speedy response, much appreciated.
i had a look in totally ttrs and reckon as all the gaskets/orings etc are readily available seperately it would be best left to a new owner to decide how far to go,ie if their carb body ie float pin holder is broken they might prefer to just swap the bits over.
thanks
martin
