Got four bikes right now

2006 Triumph Scrambler 865cc twin bought in 2008 with 10k on the clock, now on 74k

2009 Triumph Thruxton 865cc twin, bought in 2012 with 10k & now on 44k

2011 Yamaha TT250R bought new in 2013 now on 14k

2015 Yamaha WR250R bought new in 2016 now on 2500kms

Nice bikes Terry, especially the red Triumph, that looks very well. The first photo looks like a fine place to ride, and the blue sky and the sun shining.....

Hey Terry, are they Kenda claws you are running on the TTR

they look like them, if not what are they and what are they like grip/durability wise ?

 No Dunlop D603 or D605, running D606's on there now

They were ok on gravel roads but not much good in mud, they are a dual sport tyre so not too serious

 I grew up in Ireland & moved to Australia when I was 14yrs old & I still remember how bloody cold it was !!!!  I now hate the cold & yes we have blue skys most days

I have a couple of thousand left on my current tyres

some kind of bridgstone, there not bad but starting to chunk on the rear, I'm guessing they are the Original DRZ tyres

Think I'll go back to 606's

I run mine down as low as 5psi, fantastic grip at 5psi, got 2 rim locks on the back

It's never moved after 3000k's on it

..
