Hello. I have an old and rather excessively modified non-running TTR250 that I've set aside because of all the issues it kept getting. I'm wondering if it's even worth fixing this thing as I've already sank over $1000 on repairs alone and it still keeps getting issues. This thing has lived in the mecha...

I've only just got my 2001 TTR and have noticed a problem with the speedo. When I take off for a ride the speedo needle doesn't move but the odometer is clicking over, which suggests to me that the drive cable is doing its job. After some time and a solid whack on the speedo it jumps to life and is OK for the res...

Stripping down an engine tonight, I used the "jam the sprocket with a socket" technique - worked a treat An odd thing, the nut needed a 32mm spanner (I haven't got a deep socket that size) and I am sure that nearly every other sprocket nut I have encountered is 30mm I will try and remember to check it out...

If you can lay your hands on a 10mm bearing puller, then there is a good chance you can remove your rear shock bearing collars without any damage.
