Rear Shock & Speedo question

Hi, Ive a TTR in need of a digital speedo & and rear shock replacement , any advice ??

What's wrong with the speedo? is there light and shows a 0, but no speed reading?

Rear shocks like hens teeth used and new ones no longer available, a rebuild may be your best option.

 Can anyone tell me if the rebound adjuster on the bottom of the shock should turn freely or should click ?? thanks

It should click as it rotates. TTR shocks are rebuildable, provided the chrome rod is in good order. I use Revs Racing suspension specialist in Halesowen, but some take on the task themselves. Brian and Steve have done it - see here:

It might only need a regas.
Alternatively Wilbers can make you one for about 6 hundred quid!

Check there is current going to the red feed wire and that its terminal isn't corroded away.

Shock has been rebuilt and upgraded spring fitted by Jon @ Revs Racing , happy days
