Blue Plastic Tanks on White OE?

Hi

Ive had my OE TTR 17 Years and its still a great little bike

However Im on tank number 3 (yes rotted out at the seat junction) and they are becoming like rocking horse droppings

Does anyone know if the Blue plastic tank from the later bike fits a white OE?

And if so, do you need the blue ones seat as well?

Yes - they will fit but need mountings made up as they fit differently.

Your bigger difficulty will actually be finding a used one.

Also the TTR metal tanks can be repaired with Plastic Padding or, preferably, leading wink
