Hi all, A while ago myself and two friends were convinced by Malcolm (moo.) to buy ttr250s. We then thought why not ride go for a trip on them? So in May 2018 we have decided to ride them from Northamptonshire Uk to Austrailia. As a group we will need more parts to better prep ourselves. If anyone has any of t...
I got the idea of starting this thread in hopes that I could get some help from folks on this site.In my job working for the Texas DOT, I occasionally have to chair a Safety Meeting. Was looking at lowering the WRR & check into lowering links etc. Kept coming up with üse the Yamaha 1"lowering option I did it last night, dropped the link off out of the way & adjusted the link yoke, wound the yoke up into the shock thread. Slipped the forks through the triples around 13mm, now I...
Just a quick hello. Bought a 2007 TTR 250 a few months ago (Cant believe 2007 is 10 years old, probably shows my age). Thanks to the forum was able to do a good pre check of the bike before i got it and i think i have a decent unit. Mostly orginal apart from what looks like a trail tech vapor replacement speedo a...
After having a problem with petrol not staying in the tank I had to cut the graphics to make the repair. Bit shocked at the price of new ones so having vinyl wrapped a zzr in the past I ordered a sheet of blue carbon to see how it could look. Total cost £20 deliVerde for enough to do this twice... Oh and the sun...
I am just making some space on my PC and came across these photos. I haven't heard from Arnaud for a long time so I am not sure whether his plan to run offroad tours around Lake Baikal ever get off the ground. His photos make it look stunning Google says; "Lake Baikal is an ancient, massive lake in the mount...

I just got a 06 TTR250, but it has a couple parts missing and I hope someone has them here. I need the strap that holds the battery box closed the side panel that goes over the exhaust. I see that the stock exhaust has two mounting points for what I assume would be for the side panel if I were to purchase an afte...
Hi all, I decided to get a brand new shock ready for an exended trip so the old unit is now for sale in Northamptonshire. I wont claim to have anything other than an average understanding of suspension but it was working fine before i replaced it. It holds it oil, the bump stops there but has seen better day...
Took this pic this morning. Rode in from the other end and there was no sign . Always wondered what was in there a lot of bush and a seven km single track . I have a weeks holiday so aiming for 1000km . chalked up 350 since sat morning and it's only lunchtime Monday -- Edited by ttboof on Monday 5th of June 2...
The starter has been acting up for a while. Needing rocking in gear then would work. Took it apart and found sticky brushes. Now replaced from Steve. Quite a simple and worthwhile job. Slightly confusing is that the headlight is now brighter????

See here I understand two TTRs are entered. One is Robin Webb's and he is sending his TTR325 over from the UK. Might the other owner be a forum member? Apologies if you are and have already told us about it - maybe Brindabella or Matt? I have lots of senior moments Brian
