In need of some help. My 2001 ttr 250 has been working great up to this point. Now it won't start. Push the magic button and nothing. The headlight still shines bright but no start. It happened all of a sudden. I went to start in one morning and nothing. I have tried charging the battery but still no power. I...
Hi, Do any 263cc owners think their bikes would be as well suited as the standard bore ttrs for a long trip? I imagine standard would be more reliable and slightly better on fuel however as i'llbe replacing the piston rings etc soon anyway I am tempted by a little more power. Ive had a read through a few t...
Took the WRR out today, 1st ride since fitting the MT21 tyres, it's been raining since Friday & the dirt roads & dry weather roads are soaked. The bike was great, the MT21's pretty good, the bike felt sure footed & stable. Terry
Hi All Hoping for some feedback, I have a customer who sent me back one of the 12oclock labs speedo healers I sell. He stated that on a short trip it became erratic, showing unsteady speed and clocking up more miles than he actually did. I have fitted it to my bike and it seems to work perfectly showing th...
Hi Folks, what's the general consensus for front directional tyres ? I have some Conti Trail Attacks that I'm putting on my supermoto rims, and I'm undecided on which way to fit the front On my car, I have directionals, and they fitted as per the direction front and back, but I'm not sure about the bike...
Hi guys , just wondering I if any of you have done this Iv been playing with the idea of motarding my ttr for on road handeling an to Lower seat hight , but dont want to lose all the off road capability , so whrn looking around I found a couple of ideas , first was change the rims to a 19"-17" configuration whic...
I just have to say something about Totally TTRs It has got to have the most genuine TTR250 OEM spares actually on the shelf ready to go than any other on-line dealer. No waiting around for the dealer to “get the parts in” as is increasingly the case as dealers try and keep their costs down by reducing the...
Hey guys. I am taking the snorkel off my bike as I don't do deep water runs. I have also a barret aftermarket exhaust coming, so would a 52.5 pilot and 140 small round main be sweet for an uncorked and derestricted TTR?? I got this off a thumpertalk sticky, which is a sticky off the ttr250.com page. It sou...

My TTR Supermoto was stolen - for the second time, but with no find this time, and I am seriously ****ing gutted. Before it was stolen I ordered the Aluminium Decompressor Plug from Totallyttrs as my rubber one was leaking oil and now that my bikes gone I don't need it. I was going to send it back but if anyo...
Long story short, my 1993 TTR 250 had sprung an oil leak, it was oozing for ages, then suddenly something must have given way because I got home from a ride and oil was pouring from around the base gasket. I proceeded to order a head and base gasket set. While changing the gaskets, I noticed the piston was r...
In reasonable condition. bought it to put on my OE, but decided to stick with the stock tank instead. Bits of surface rust underneath but nothing major. couple of small dings as you'd expect from this type of bike tank. no petrol tap. Only want what I paid for it which was 50 quid plus postage -- Edited by W...

Hey guys, I just completed a mini restoration on my father's 2005 TT-R 250, figured I'd post up before it got used and began it's useful life as a trail bike again! I wanted to keep it close to stock looking but did take a few liberties with it. I installed a small riser height increase and switched over...
Hey guys, I was fitting a set of footpegs from my yz250 on my father's ttr250, did the left side with minor machining of the peg pivot tube and it fit perfect, went to the right side to discover the peg was completely oddball designed and would be too far forward and out of I used a regular peg. I a lot of pe...

I'm getting new tires on my 04 TTR. I got it earlier this year, had worn tires, but I just got around to getting new tires. This was my first time removing both front and rear wheels. The manual just says "remove front axle". It didn't say HOW that works, I figured it must turn out like a bolt, so I got th...
