Well bikes are loaded for the 500km drive to the Flinders Ranges, been a lot of rain up that way with some roads closed & we may have to change the schedule. Should be plenty of water in the creeks for added fun.
7 of us going:
Me TTR
Dave TTR
Derek TTR
John KLX250
Gary KLX450 or DRZ400
Rob DRZ400
Janos WR426
Will post photos when I get back in a week, next to no phone coverage up there either.
I like the fork-stops for trailering without loading up the suspension too much. Never seen those for sale before! Ride safe, take pictures, Simon.
They come in several lengths & some are adjustable, the ones in the photo are good as they can't slip back with the wings, it's 500kms each way & on some rough roads plus I don't want a bike to come loose.
Back home from 5 nights up in the Flinders Ranges, had a great time up there with a bunch of mates, couple of photos to start with, videos to come later,
uploading tonight & have some great video of TTR's ( we had 3 TTR's )
Hehe, seriously hope I'm still riding at 63 and 73!!

Cheers mate, fairly bike fit for my age & it was a heap of fun, I did 840kms on the TTR riding like this from Tuesday to Sat, they had over 100mm of rain the days before we got there to add to the enjoyment. Perfect conditions
We had one bike lock up, the WR426 dropped a valve, lucky it was on the way back from the mine & took my mate almost 6 hours to pick it it in a 4x4...it if broke in Buggery gorge it would be best to tow it out with another bike
yes we are spoilt, blue skys, good tracks, great views & no one for miles. Blinman is the highest town in South Australia & less than 20 people live there.
