Hi to all, Just joined up and thought I better say hello. I'm lucky that I live about 5 minutes away from about 800 square kilometres of state forest with awesome riding, lots of single track, thick bush hills creeks etc. I've been riding offroad for about 40 years. My two sons now also ride with me and...
A few months ago my 2011 model TTR-250 had a flat battery. Bought new battery. 3 weeks later flat again. Brought it to an independent mechanic. He said "needs new regulator". Charged me A$280 for new regulator + labor and he charged the battery. 3 weeks later flat again. He said "battery probably damag...
Hi, Just noticed the bottom of the rear shock is rubbing on the swingarm cross member. Any ideas as to why it might be doing this? Will adjusting the shock stop it happening??

It came to me in a dream..... and the dream was right! I ferreted through my shelves and discovered that I have the basic parts needed to build a new 325 engine So I have a re-sleeved and bored barrel to take the 325 Wiseco piston and, best of all, a pair of crankcases already bored for the oversize liner....
Well, not only did my son twist the forks on the TTR, he lost the key too!! Just bad luck ride last night. Anyway, how do I go about getting a replacement? Would this be a dealer only thing, or are there other available solutions? Thanks again.

...and what a nice bike they are. First thing that was obvious was more power, and it felt sporty and new. I could tell it was a more modern design and riding position setup. Had an aftermarket exhaust and sounded sweet. Its 6 months old and my mate has done 10k on it so far. He is addicted! I think the suspe...

So.. having some trouble getting the carb running right with any kind of open exhaust. Bike is a 2005 Bluey, jetting is standard, 50 pilot and 147 main. Bike runs fine with a standard exhaust, no hesitation or blips and pulls right through the rev range. I've introduced both a motad exhaust (which runs...
Hi All I am product testing a brand new full stainless steel exhaust, that has been made up for me by a very nice man in Stafford. So i fitted the exhaust and straight away you can hear the difference in exhaust note! A much more raspier affair, so I did a decibel reading using a app on my phone, the new exhau...
has anyone cut open a standard exhaust and modified it to liberate a bit more flow ?have chopped the bit off the front pipe, just wondered if there was anything to gain by messing with the rear exhausti know most would just bolt on an aftermarket system, but, if your like me with more free time than spare c...

Hi, Do any 263cc owners think their bikes would be as well suited as the standard bore ttrs for a long trip? I imagine standard would be more reliable and slightly better on fuel however as i'llbe replacing the piston rings etc soon anyway I am tempted by a little more power. Ive had a read through a few t...
Took the WRR out today, 1st ride since fitting the MT21 tyres, it's been raining since Friday & the dirt roads & dry weather roads are soaked. The bike was great, the MT21's pretty good, the bike felt sure footed & stable. Terry
Hi All Hoping for some feedback, I have a customer who sent me back one of the 12oclock labs speedo healers I sell. He stated that on a short trip it became erratic, showing unsteady speed and clocking up more miles than he actually did. I have fitted it to my bike and it seems to work perfectly showing th...
Hi Folks, what's the general consensus for front directional tyres ? I have some Conti Trail Attacks that I'm putting on my supermoto rims, and I'm undecided on which way to fit the front On my car, I have directionals, and they fitted as per the direction front and back, but I'm not sure about the bike...

I just have to say something about Totally TTRs It has got to have the most genuine TTR250 OEM spares actually on the shelf ready to go than any other on-line dealer. No waiting around for the dealer to “get the parts in” as is increasingly the case as dealers try and keep their costs down by reducing the...
Hey guys. I am taking the snorkel off my bike as I don't do deep water runs. I have also a barret aftermarket exhaust coming, so would a 52.5 pilot and 140 small round main be sweet for an uncorked and derestricted TTR?? I got this off a thumpertalk sticky, which is a sticky off the ttr250.com page. It sou...
