Most of my time was spent try not to drop it..... I'll sell the carb kit for $25 shipped and the lower shock bearing for $...

Yamaha TTR250Is Yamaha's TTR250 hiding a mean streak under that unpretentious outside? Imagine your hootin’ down a long and open stretch of track, at near to the fastest pace you’re comfortable with. You’re 450F is skipping over the choppy terrain and you’re easing its mammoth amount of power on a...

I stripped the carb today. Good news, I didn't break the float pin post. Bad news, the diaphragm is toast. Weird news, the pumper wouldn't have worked anyway. In stead of 2 o-rings, the in and out jets were blocked off by solid rubber rings. I wonder if it was disabled from the factory or whether som...
I've got a 94' Raid and am seriously considering removing the tank graphics. They're the only ones left on the bike as the ones on the side panels have been removed already. Has anyone got any pics of a Raid without the graphics so i can see what it would look like if i do it?!
I bought a kit through eBay (they are still being sold - see here) back in 2012 with high expectations of restoring all the nuts and bolts on my refurbs and making them look proper "factory" but the kit and instructions looked a bit complex so I kept putting off using it - until today I was right in thinkin...

It is a 2004 bike but you are buying a fully rebuilt bike. The 325 kit makes a huge difference to low and mid range grunt. Bike ha...

Following a very successful second attempt at the 2017 Taffy Dakar, three riders set their sights on another journey of rockier tracks, more mud, deeper ruts and wetter puddles. This summer the TTRookies got LOST IN WALES. To be continued... -- Edited by...
G'day All, Just joined the forum from sunny Queensland, Australia. I have recently acquired a 1995 TTR250, and will be rebuilding it at some stage, so maybe many questions.
Hi all My bike's PO told me to drain the valve on the oil breather line regularly. I was worried it was due to blow by, but I checked it today - +/- a week since I checked it last and +/- 50km - and I found a milky, mostly water mix in the drain nipple(?). If this was a water cooled engine I would be crapping myse...
Am I missing something to see a thread from the newest post / reply? At the moment I have to scroll past all the posts to see what is new. Most other forums have this functionality. Not a biggy though.
Reluctantly up for sale my Ttr, very good overall condition, such an under estimated machine. 6 months MOT, recent oil and filter, rear wheel bearings, x-ring chain and sprockets, 4mm inner tubes. Starts and runs on the button, air box opened up, jetted up with xr400 rear pipe goes well. 2003 with 130...
I’ve had it for almost a couple of years. Bought for green laning and a long trip. It’s done 22000 miles as I used it for a trip to Kyrgyzstan in 2016 but you wouldn’t know it - it’s in excellent shape, just the usual minor scrapes on the plastics. In preparation for the trip I had all the rear suspension and...
