Raid - with or without tank graphics?

Mmmm...still not sure! Might be a good idea Adam...don't think i've ever seen a pic of a Raid with the full set of decals...

I've got a 94' Raid and am seriously considering removing the tank graphics. They're the only ones left on the bike as the ones on the side panels have been removed already.

Has anyone got any pics of a Raid without the graphics so i can see what it would look like if i do it?!

If you would like a better one of your bike with its graphics taken off then provide a picture, or link, and I will do one for you.

There is someone selling the complete set of decals on eBay, I would leave the tank ones on and perhaps replace the others?

Thanks everyone....think i'll leave it as it is for now...maybe look at adding to the graphics (new swingarm one for example) and maybe the set from ebay...thank again..especially Martyn for the 'photshopping'!

I personally liked it with graphics. They look super cool and stylish. I also have a bike with white paint so would love to graphic vehicle wraps for that. I would like to go with a quirky design. Trying to find some nice designs.

The issue with the graphics on the metal-tanked TTRs is that they are fitted at the factory and then given a coat of clear lacquer so it's not just a case of peeling them off - it's quite an undertaking to do it properly and the tank would likely need a total respray afterwards.

I would be interested to see what wrapping might look like so let's have some photos if you do it please wink

wrapping will be fine for the first few months, but then watch . . .
I play with a lot of vinyl, watch it once you get a little bit of fuel and dust around the stuff.
