You may have noticed that I have been a bit quiet lately. This is because I have been quietly working away in the garage on a very nice TTR250. I am just back from the MOT station with a new certificate so it's now going up for sale to make room for my other projects including my frame-up 350 build. Regardin...

In a winter time while my bike was sleeping I decided to fix a rear shock. Sometimes fixing can make things worse. But this time I succeeded. The shock was leaking the oil a little bit. I didn't want to repair a bike in summer during offroad season nor buy OEM shock or aftermarket cause they are to expensiv...

Have just done a complete rebuild on my old 1996 TTR250....long overdue. She has fired up fine, except for an odd oil leak coming out of the clutch push lever seal. Have cleaned out the crankcase evac system & all of the hoses thinking it may be a build up of crankcase pressure, but the leak remains. A...

As the WRR is still in dry dock the TTR got another run today, from home up around the Barossa Valley, plenty of dirt roads, vineyards, no towns & only stopped to take a couple of photos. The speedo hit 20k as I turned off onto the dirt, so another 150kms ride today, no rain but only 17c Terry
