Hi guys,Ive recently just joined as I’ve just bought my first TTR250 2003 blue she’s a little rough and isn’t running properly but I’m loving it already
As the title suggests, The TT250R was in production for many years & served Yamaha very well, the WR250R came out in 2008 so here in Australia Yamaha sold TTR's up until 2013 & are still selling the WRR's until stock runs out, the WRR has also served Yamaha very well, I am lucky to have bought both...

Just wanted to get an opinion from you guys... I need to put a clutch kit into my '06 TTR250. There are 2 on ebay that have caught my attention. One is Kevlar and the other is cork. Both are fairly close in price, just wondering on the pro's and cons of each. Also if you know of a cheaper or better kit I would app...

Hi guys, I took my 350 on the road and the clutch was slipping under hard acceleration. Everything set according to specs, EBC heavy duty discs and springs, OE six disc basket. The basket has slight notching though. I feel too much power is lost there. What could be the cause? Anyone with a 350 having the...

Hi all, Usually I only post to point out the obvious or ask really dumb questions but this time I thought I would share how my rebuild is going. Firstly I thought my bike has always done me proud so a while ago I treated it to one of the first batch of 350 kits. I was too eager to ride the bike so overlooked tart...
Hi guys quick question for ya,I’ve just bought this bike and noticed it has a bad oil leak from the top end somewhere,I rode it briefly the other day and it was way too bad,it seemed to be leaking out at pressure,as if there is no crankcase breathers,so I go and investigate, and I can’t find one on there at...
I was looking at the clutch diagram from the manual and noticed that part 11 in the photo does not exist (in the manual I have). The photo is from Brian's guide. Is this part for the blue or OE TTRs only? What if it is missing, would it cause a problem? -- Edited by Christos on Friday 8th of July 2022 01:01:10 P...
Hey Everyone, I know there is a ton of info (and confusion) about jetting, size variances between manufacturers, and what part numbers are available in OEM. I've been emailing back and forth with Jetsrus.com, and let them know the Mikuni jets they show on their website as appropriate for the TTR are a...
Hello, I am a new member, and about to start a 350 build, I have a 2004 Blue bike and am new to everything to do with motorbikes, apart from falling off! How long should a chain slider last under normal conditions? I'm referring to the slider near the front spoket. Mine seems to be eating away way too soon, and the chain tension is correct, what other factors can affect this?
