Hi there I have recently acquired a 1994 TT250R to ad to my riding stable. (There is currently 9 bikes in the shed) and I am in love with my new little beastie. I was looking for a bike which I could ride on and off road as well as it having to be a 4 Stroke and nice and light and easy for me to handle. Although I ma...
Newbie to the forum so thanks in advance. Grabbed a local 250 that was lightly used and a garage queen. Ran like crap though as the pilot jet was clogged. Anyway 2 questions: 1) bottom rebound of rear shock has no set consistent "clicks" just spins and occasionally there's a click! Do the cli...
Hi Brian. it wont let me sign into the shop. Ive redone my email adress and password. This is what keeps coming up. It was working fine about a week ago. Im doing this on an iphone. Thnx.
After dousing the exhaust nuts and studs for a couple of weeks I tried to loosen them off today. One moved quite easily however the other was really rusted. I had to hammer on an 11 mm socket but to my relief it is coming off. The studs are coming out with the nuts so will need to contact Brian with a list of ite...
I managed to get my bro' out trail riding today - his first ride since August last year We pretty much covered the same route that SteveH and I rode last Saturday so not much to add other than I was glad to be leading coz there is very little mud or water left in the lanes and the dust was rising! Pic taken in th...

Hello guys. Last week I rode my Raid 1996 to a cement plant, 379 km from my house. On the way back I side stepped into a forest trail, riding around for am hour, and what do you know, I found a nice little stream. Though it was short, it was the best fun I've had in a while. My Raid is 1996. Right now the odo is at 8...
Well finally got it a roller again truth be told my mate did, all new linkage bearings, swing arm bearings and all powder coated and a newer better condition rear shock and a raid tank really suits it. hope you all like
Bought a 02 "garage queen" a few weeks ago. Bike was lightly used and the pipe sounded great (for a stock pipe) I bolted on a new FMF Q4-so if you need an original exhaust or just the silencer/spark arrestor PM me. I'll ship in the FMF box unless a all you need is the baffle but I would like to sell t...
got out again today rode the forest south of home a nearly five hours covering 180ks , the forest differs from my ride on Wednesday in that the tracks consist of steep rutted rocky tracks that are quite challenging but fun at the same time here's a few more pics , warm 30 deg C clear autumn day .
So last night I fitted one of these. It was £17.99 off Amazon, has good reviews and was easy to fit, even for a mechanical retard for myself! I did manage to break a fuel hose removing the tank though I can now run a sat nav and change my phone and my kindle at the same time! Result!
The pics should be self explanatory. What I think has happened is through either lack use of or just wear, the dials have seized. When I got it apart I put a drill on the drive and I could see it all spinning but just clicking where you can see the tip of the crewy. I poked a small screwdriver in-between each o...
Having just bought a white 1993 TTR 250 for a short commute to work (9miles each way) can someone please advise on the road tyres that I will require. The bike will not be used off road at all, criminal I know but it was a bargain and ideal for my daily short trip. Also any idea of its value? 1993 model, white...
OK – so Totally TTRs is moving into the 21st century with an eShop. With our existing web catalogue, it is time consuming to add a new product. Convoluted doesn't even come close as a description. I have lots of ideas for new items to add such as front mudguards, etc., etc., but am put off as it's such a faff...
we have had a bit of rain so attempted to get the ttr muddy today in the coopernook state forest a few minutes ride north of home a loop of 140 ks with a bit of mud to kick it off but by the time I was heading back it was back to dust . a nice autumn day 26 deg c and got to take in the views of the manning valley a fai...
Just been messing about with my Brothers new TTR, well happy with it, started on the button, but he wants a new pipe between the header and the silencer.. This one looks like it may give in when subject to a bit of green lane use, the silencer is a Laser Pro Duro, possibly not originally Destined for a TTR, b...
Having owned it for 2 years now, done several jobs on it and spent money on it despite never turning a wheel in 'anger' I give in. I've been trying to MOT it for nearly 3 months now and just can't find the time due to work, if I can't manage this I've resigned myself to the reality that even if I did get it road le...
I've got my motor off and right now I'm replacing the valve seals, filters, starter/sprag, and timing chain/sprockets. Is there anything else this 15 year old engine might REALLY need that could cause fatal errors? The mileage is unknown but the top end looks brand new, valve springs are tight, the c...

I've been offered a 00 Raid at small money. The guy who is selling it said he got it as payment for some work. The previous owner fell off on the road, bent the gear lever, rode in home in 1st gear and killed the engine. The present owner had the crank redone and rebuilt it but said it "**** itself"...
