I confess that I like the red TTRs Alan but have never owned one! Some had gold rims which set the red off nicely. 

A pair of red fork gaiters would protect those fork legs from flying rocks and blend nicely with the tank decals and seat wink

Yeah not many red ones around at all, it would look good if you had the red gaitors!

This a good idea having gaitors too, my mate flicked up a around 3" diameter rock at me the other day from his rear tyre, it narrowly missed my head! no nice to see an older bike still on the road toosmile

The variety of colour schemes for the metal-tanked models is quite surprising Locky - see here

I have just edited Jarrah's thread as most of the pics had gone walkabout but I think I have nailed the most common models. Tired now so will have a go at the other missing pics another time.

I have seen most of the models except the black one (OE 97 Black 4RR2). Anyone on here got one???

There's a black one for sale somewhere online I thought I had been resprayed. I'll try find It again later.

Cant see any black ones for sale at mo, andy99's ttr is on gumtree at present though, he only wants 1200 for it which is a bargain
