Thanks again to Brian for the new disc guard, its very lightweight and is definitely going to help against any bastard rocks or whatever spoiling the day. Bargain at £10. I fully recommend, get the mud out the swingarm holes then just screw it up.-- Edited by peteBLUEttr on Saturday 2nd of May 2015 09:...
anyone else had a petrol cap that sticks tight to the tank. Went to get some petrol the other day and could not unscrew the cap. Get a pair of stillsons on it and unscrewed. After a few days it was again very difficult to undo. Ha been OK in the past.
well very wet is the answer we had a run to the Moor planed and the day started wet an got wetter so stayed closer to home and it pissed it down three and a half hours in the rain was all we could take. now I don't mind a bit of rain it can make the play on the lanes more fun. but it had worked it's way into my jacket an...

Well, got the bike out and went for a nice ride out yesterday, along with my mate martin on his DR350 and My bro Dave (AKA Davo) who Christened his new TTR, which was totally reliable (unlike the rider) I wasn't quite as careful remembering all the lanes, as I hace in the past, but will make comments whe...
Seems like most of you guys are in the British Isles so I'm not sure if this is a good forum for selling the TTR? Maybe there is a member in So Cal? Anyway, getting a YZ 250 for the dirt and the TTR is up for sale. Looking for 1850.00 US. Has a new skid plate and an FMF Q4. Bought it from 1st owner 756 miles by him, 20...
Since fitting a 52.5 pilot jet to get my TTR running as it should and modding the standard exhaust i decided to slightly mod the snorkel. All i done was cut about an inch off the snorkel inside the airbox. I cut it at an angle so the hole in the snorkel faced the air filter. With the other 2 mods it's seemed to...

I tried to make the mountain crossing form the northern side.I met the wildlife ranger who was bringing 3 mountain bikers off the mountain and he told me that I wouldnt make it through because the heavy forest harvesting machines had ruined the track and turned parts of it into a deep boggy mess. He sa...

TTR scooting past the prickly pear plants, avoiding the Sunday drivers ... TTR white lining through the tunnel under the aerodrome Home in time for afternoon tea and a change from sweaty boots into something more airy and comfortable ... !
Weather was going to be dry, so the forecast said, with chance of a shower in the afternoon, so the plan was to head out from base camp ie Crediton in Mid Devon and head out towards Honiton and then down to Ottery St Mary then Exeter and back to base camp staying well off any main roads. Kick off time was set f...
As above, my TTR starts and idles very well, i can even get it to idle very slowly and it ticks over lovely. But just above idle it seems slightly hesitant, this will be a pain when riding off road. Other than this it revs cleanly through the rev range as it should. Iv'e put the standard exhaust back on incas...
Good morning gentleman, I'm sure more than one of us have seen this issue. My graphics have bubbled and pushed away from the tank. I have accepted that this is unavoidable unless I drain the tank after a ride. Not so easy for you road warriors. My question is, does anyone know a way to remove the "bro...
Had my weekend knock around the lanes and I stuck to higher ground well up the river as the TRF Devon are running there AXE to EXE event. we have had a wee bit of a dry spell. and the lack of wet mud is not the norm for this time of year it's so dry we are getting dust.
We trailered the bikes up to the Flinders Ranges for 5 days of riding dirt roads, gravel roads, gorges, Public access roads & farm tracks, we did just over 1000kms over the 5 days & had a ball. I going to share some videos & photos of our trip Cheers Terry [video=https://www.youtube.com/w...

Looking back through my tracklogs I discovered that I haven’t been on a trail ride since October 2014. I knew it had been a while but that’s ridiculous!Anyways up, my mate Steve (KTM250) invited me out on a short morning ride from Exmouth to check out some East Devon lanes prior to the Devon TRF Group’s A...
Trev and I went along to the start of Day Two of the Axe-to-Exe as we were reserve run leaders. Happily all the run leaders turned up so we weren't needed I had put a route for the "Tiverton loop" on my GPS just in case I had to lead a group. Not knowing what lanes they would have ridden in East Devo...
Life getting in the way, I havent been able to get away for a weekend for months so I was really pleased to finally get away on my New To Me TTR. Dave is so chuffed with his TTR and the great adventures he has had on his little bike that he decided to organise a rally celebrating the "Tiddler" and ra...
