Hello guys, I have got a question. Have any of you got a problem like me? Sometimes the kickstarter of my 1995 Open Enduro gets stuck and I cannot kickstart it. I only can start the engine using the starter button at such times. Checking the flywheel side I saw that the starter gear gets stuck sometimes....
Has anyone tried "redex" or similar addative to the fuel to lubricate valve guides.. Im still trying to pinpoint that noise from the top end.. Cam chain is worn abit and has that wooshing sound when running hot or cold...so is being replaced soon.. But this noise is a (rattle or tapping) that isnt there...

Do you guys check it when the engine is dead cold (been sitting overnight) or do you warm the engine up for a minute or so then let it sit for 5-10 then check it? I swear I read somewhere you check the TTR cold but everyone I know with a more modern bike checks it with the other method
