Does anyone have this problem. Ive removed my tank 3 times in the last 3 months. Everytime its a "Drama " to remove the fuel line either off the tank or the carby. I tried abit of grease on the carby end which didnt help.

Found a local aluminin welder. i cant take the TTR to him so he wanted a template. There is wire taped inside to to keep basic shape. He said he can do a couple of spot welds then i can take it to try on the bike bending it alittle. Hope to have it done in a few weeks. Will post a photo when completed.

Noticed my exhaust valves (Or are they the valve guides ) have a white color. Bikes done 9000 km and runs well. With no engine mods done. As you can see they are nice and clean for now. Wondering why the sponge is there. Maybe for sound deading Or protection of the panel itself. I guess if the sponge does absorbe water on creek crossing it would soon vibrate off.
