Wheels from WR's 1992~1996 may fit TTR250???

Just been doing a bit of research on wheels that will interchange with TTR250's and I think I have found a suitable match. I am still uncertain but it all seems that WR's from 1992~1996 will fit TTR's. Whether or not special spacers would have to be made is anyone's guess, but so far so good.

I am hoping someone is game to try this?

I also have a suspicion that the following wheels will fit.... 1990-1998 YZ125/250 {} 1991-1997 WR250 {} 1992-1993 WR500 {} 1998 YZ400F {} 1998 WR400

It still is only a hunch but it may be worth looking into further confuse

would it matter the 1990`s YZ`s etc ran a different size wheel  for gearing ?
they are a 2.15/19 compared to the 2.15/18 of the TTR

Not for fitment I would say but it is something to keep in mind. I think it would be a bit like a WR with a YZ wheel fitted, not the right size (19'' v's 18'') but works none the less.

Unfortunately, it seems that only some models had the speedo drive fitted to the front wheel though. The only models for this so far is-  {} 1993 WR200RD. The 1998 WR400 front axle is a different size so it's out of the list.
