Am going to be rebuilding my ttr top end very soon, am just wondering on the rebuild if i need to use thicker oil first time round then flush it out and use stuff i usually put in.
I usually use Putoline DX4 10w-40 semi synthetic in.
Also found out when we took engine apart the base gasket went like jelly am assuming this caused oil blockage to the rings and piston or atleast reduced amount going up as cylinder head was full of oil and fine.
