I got this ttr and the glass is clear, is this standard as opposed to the units that have a certain amount of obscurity to it?

Not sure if an aftermarket unit,have a look

The surround looks to be standard. Has the glass unit got provision for a sidelight? If so, it is more than likely it is also standard. What's the worry?

You are right that the genuine TTR headlight glass has a certain "milky" look wink

No worry, just never seen them with a clear unit so that you can see the bulb and yes it has a side light
