Hey everyone
I was just wondering if someone would be kind enough to explain how the jetting works, and how to rejet. I have a blue 2000 ttr with what I asume to be stock jets. I have installed an aftermarket exhaust and I think it's running a bit rich. How ever I have no clue about jetting. Thanks
Aidan
Hi,
I'm looking for a very clean and mechanically sound mid 90's RAID to put on the back of my motorhome. Retirement arrives March next year and the wife & I are off touring (and green laning at our great age! ) so I have the winter to source.
Best wishes to all...
thought id show my recently rebuilt ttr on its first real ride, also the miss's first ride out (2007 crf 150f) not a bad little bike i must say. she struggled up some of the hills, getting me to do the hard work.... so i broke the clutch lever in an epic crash. she was not a happy customer. the pics below show a...

Hi all, had my first big blast on new bike, and just wondering how my old raid compares to other TTR's out there, now I took it over Exmoor and up Porlock Hill (steep and a little cheeky if your not familiar with it) and made it up and down without issue. I have to work the box a lot more than any other bike I've h...
In September I'll be wobbling around the Pyrenees on my TTR with a couple of mates getting lost and tired courtesy of Austin Vince and Lois Pryce. They are hosting an event similar to their twinshock trailfinder but for any dirtbike. I'll report back when we've done it but if anyone wants to know more o...
I am asking onn behalf of a good friend, who also has a TTR 250. He can't get the starter to turn over, even though the the battery is charged. This problem just seemed to happen without warning. Any ideas as to what he might do to solve this problem?

The plastic cap that stops debris getting into the lower suspension bits appears to have disappeared on the right hand side of the rear swing arm... Does anyone have a spare they wish to sell? Cheers.
Have had my 2006 for about three months and find it very similar to the Honda XR400 to ride. A bit less frightening and so can do more on it! Especially on loose rocky terrain. Good commuter. It came with road tyres fitted and have not yet gone back to the Dunlop trail tyres I got with it, will do though. Surp...
Hello i purchased 4 new valve guide seals for my 2000 Australian TTR250 due to it smoking on startup, Now what i need to know is, Do i need to remove the head to access the valves or it is possible to just replace the valve seals without removing the head and cam chain? I have already removed the 3 allen head b...
Any US members have an air intake duct (snorkel) laying around that you are willing to sell? I discovered that mine is missing (probably removed to increase flow for the after market exhaust). I am hoping that the slight reduction in air intake will help my bike to run a bit better. -- Edited by LRJ on...

Hi ,
Just registered and thought I would introduce myself. I feel a bit of a fraud really because I haven't got a TTR yet! I'm still searching for one though. I have owned and ridden bikes since I was 16, some 40 odd years ago! My first bike was a BSA Bantam D7 which I bought for £7 . I soon upgraded to a BSA C15 S...
Finally managed to log in- thanks Brian! I bought my bike about 3 weeks ago, in ignorance and a hurry, but I've had some great rides in the hills here in France already- first thing I learned is that the bike is a lot braver than me! Now trying to put the bike back to more stock condition- I hadn't realis...
My TTR shortly after I bought it. Just needs chain and sprockets and it'll be tip top again. Not used it in a year due to injury but will hopefully get back on the lanes in the new year

In an effort to quiet down my after-market exhaust system, I have inserted a copper grill scrubber into the end of the muffler. I was also hoping to reduce the flow and help the bike run a little smoother. (She seems to prefer to run with the choke on a bit.) If the bike is not running poorly with this add...
My side stand can be a real pain to kick down/up again. I've dismantled the linkage, greased it and nipped it back up. It continues to misbehave! Seems it needs a bearing or something for it to work properly, don't have this problem on my DRZ or CBR600, or any other bike I've owned. Ideas please?
