Hello, I look for the disposal of the magnets of the starter for my yamaha TTR 250.
I changed the axis that was worn.
I will like to know in which direction it turns, For I climbed back up it as I was able.  The bike starts up not I think that the rotation direction is not correct.
 Thank you

The starter motor should run clockwise.

I made the mistake of putting a starter body on the wrong way around once and there was lots of whirring but it didn't turn the engine over as the sprag clutch was freewheeling disbelief

Merci

Thank you

My starter turns towards this direction

I bought this bike, two months ago.  The starter did not work.
When I dismantled it, I have does l" not error to spot the magnet location.
I put back the magnets has equal space.  To the final one it turns to the inverse one aiguilles of a watch.
My question: how definir the correct location of the magnets, Who define the rotation of the starter.
