After selling my old Raid and regretting it, I got a bit click happy on ebay, on a 1994 OE.Didnt cost mega bucks, and just needed some TLC. Now 95 % complete, and for nearly a 30 year old bike, it didn't come up bad in the end!
For sale is my ttr250 . Bone stock , This bike has 325 original miles on it as shown on the odometer and has always been stored inside. All fluids just changed and new battery installed. Hi guys, The Allen headed nut that the inner front brake pad sits in has massively warn /has a grove on my ttr and needs replacing. I used an all balls rubber kit on the front caliper and there left some excess play on the caliper which lead to this wear and now a bent EBC disc. Currently in Brazil but wil...
Hi All, Tried my friends TTR250 not so long ago and now have to have one seen as they're so light and nimble (coming from a KTM 1290 tank, anything is light and nimble). Ideally want the older OE model. Based in London and able to travel to collect. Cash waiting. Thanks, Jamie

Hey all! New owner of a 2001 TTR-250 with a serious carb leak and a wonky rear brake switch. This is my first kick at anything dirt or dual-sport after years of standards, nakeds, cruisers and sport-tourers. I'm mostly looking to commute so creature comforts are probably in the future, but right now...
Hi, Got a older TTR 250 1998, its got the standard TQ carb - I'm having fun and games with the original carb, so looking to see if anyone can point me in the direction of a replacement carb? Thanks in advance Larry
Just had a mate, Bob, pop around for a new chain and sprocket set. He keeps a careful record of all that he does to is white OE and the mileages when he replaces parts, services the TTR, etc. I was very surprised to learn that he got 6,039 miles or 9,720km (and we double checked it!) out of his last Renthal R3 c...
Looking for some advise from the Carb boffs please..... I live on the coast and would like to know if I ride up to an altitude of about 3000 metres would I need to change my Air-Screw settings, or make any other adjustments for the bike to run normally. I would assume the bike would need more air compared to...
Hi guys, just got my 2005 Up and running after a tidy up in the workshop. Starts lovely and runs well from cold. Left it to warm up to change the oil but once warm it smokes quite a bit, puffs as it is revved I would say white or blue. Im not sure how old the fuel is but I will change this. was thinking of doing a co...
New to the forum, managed to get hold of a old 1998, TTR 250 which is in need of a bit of love and restoration.... Originally used by the French Police for off road training, then bought by a friend of mine, used occasionally for a number of years but mostly stored away in a barn. So, Im looking forward to get...

I am a new member who recently purchased a 2006 TT250R. I also purchased a new GYTR exhaust thinking (and K&N filter) it would just be a simple slip on no tuning process (same as my KLR with my Yoshimura & K&N). Unfortunately, I have found out that the exhaust is super loud and also snap, crac...
Hi All, Thought I'd share a few pictures of the journey of my TT-R. It's a rebuilt bike by a friend of mine, I beleive the frame is from an 04 and the engine a 99 or vice versa. I picked it up off said friend for a reasonable price about 5 years ago, and since then have done a few green lanes and most recently the...
Hey Guys, Selling what i think is one of the David Lambeths Acerbis fitting kits. Believe its for the Blue TTR's Got it from another member, but it fouls my custom oil cooler so no good to me Looking for £20 plus postage
Ok I have removed and cleaned the carb 4 times. I know what you all are thinking and I now too have the benefit of experience. "dude you should have cleaned the tank as one of the first steps to getting a bike that has been sitting with fuel in it for 5 to 6 years!!!" The tank is full of crap! I have a 2006 TTR blu...
We have just got back from riding a 350 oe and a 325 raid to Hamburg for shipping to South America November 2022. Hi, just brought a spare engine from a UK breaker who'd totally forgotten where it came from. It's not got an engine number, just 4GY stamped on the boss, doesn't appear to have been messed with and no sign that the cases have been replaced unless it was a very long time ago (also unlikely at £2K+ a set!)....
Hi guys, Any idea what i am missing that attaches to these fixing points on the LH side of the frame? Im presuming the lower mounts are for a side stand switch that someone has removed? Thanks Tom
Well after nearly a year after I brought a poorly ttr250 off ebay . She's finally running a treat and ready for a few greenlane runs . The bike was advertised as needing tlc , the sprag clutch had gone and she smoked . As well as that the suspension was tired and the body work had signs of age . But she came to m...
