Just wanted to get an opinion from you guys... I need to put a clutch kit into my '06 TTR250. There are 2 on ebay that have caught my attention. One is Kevlar and the other is cork. Both are fairly close in price, just wondering on the pro's and cons of each. Also if you know of a cheaper or better kit I would app...

Hi guys, I took my 350 on the road and the clutch was slipping under hard acceleration. Everything set according to specs, EBC heavy duty discs and springs, OE six disc basket. The basket has slight notching though. I feel too much power is lost there. What could be the cause? Anyone with a 350 having the...
Short video testing new mount on a different helmet, using 1080 wideview for the 1st time, got the camera angle right 1st time...warning the sound is crap, my trusty gopro is being Mr cranky, won't download & locks up.
Good morning, ive Started doing some essential work on my newly bought 2003 blue ttr,it was running terrible so after a full carb rebuild the next job is the Speedo,as that’s essential for me,it wasn’t working at all so I checked the speedo drive hub and it has no internals at all,I’m super skint at t...
Hi all, Usually I only post to point out the obvious or ask really dumb questions but this time I thought I would share how my rebuild is going. Firstly I thought my bike has always done me proud so a while ago I treated it to one of the first batch of 350 kits. I was too eager to ride the bike so overlooked tart...
Hi guys quick question for ya,I’ve just bought this bike and noticed it has a bad oil leak from the top end somewhere,I rode it briefly the other day and it was way too bad,it seemed to be leaking out at pressure,as if there is no crankcase breathers,so I go and investigate, and I can’t find one on there at...
I was looking at the clutch diagram from the manual and noticed that part 11 in the photo does not exist (in the manual I have). The photo is from Brian's guide. Is this part for the blue or OE TTRs only? What if it is missing, would it cause a problem? -- Edited by Christos on Friday 8th of July 2022 01:01:10 P...
Hey Everyone, I know there is a ton of info (and confusion) about jetting, size variances between manufacturers, and what part numbers are available in OEM. I've been emailing back and forth with Jetsrus.com, and let them know the Mikuni jets they show on their website as appropriate for the TTR are a...
Hello, I am a new member, and about to start a 350 build, I have a 2004 Blue bike and am new to everything to do with motorbikes, apart from falling off! I have got my shiny new 350 kit from Steve and have bought a pair of crank cases to work with. I have removed all the bearings and seals from the cases and they a...
I have been the owner of this bike since September last year when I brought it with under 500 miles on the clock. Since then I’ve been using this bike to go green laning with my partner and put nearly 1000 miles on it. During this time the bike has had the following: Front and rear tyres with heavy duty inne...

How long should a chain slider last under normal conditions? I'm referring to the slider near the front spoket. Mine seems to be eating away way too soon, and the chain tension is correct, what other factors can affect this?
Hi all, I bought this TTR open enduro a week ago and am in the process of stripping her down to give her a good wash, replace anything that needs and just check there are no nasty surprises before we begin our adventures together ♥. 1993/4 era OE and Raid seat covers in reasonable condition for age (!) Raid cover has a scuff at the front. OE OK. Both have a small wear-through at the bottom left front corner, but this is not visible when fitted. Raid £20, OE £25, posted to UK. (Black spot on 3rd pic is a fly, not a blemish!) -- Edited by...
I have just started on a resurrection of a 1999 TTR 250. It has been sitting a long time but it looks like I'm not the first to do so. LOL! This appears to be the spot to get the low down on such a project. Looking forward to hanging out here!
Ive recently replaced the lower carb o-rings, seal and diaphragm and set up the carb with 50 pilot, I think 142 or 147 main (couldn't read clearly) with pilot screw 2 turns out, twin air filter (snorkel still present) and dominator end can. It starts up almost immediately but the popping on the overru...

I've had my TTR for about 8 years now. Whilst I'm beginning to fall to bits it isn't so it probably time it found a new home. New chain and sprockets fitted, battery last year, shock just been rebuilt and some specialist welding carried out to strengthen the frame. (The frame had been powder coated by th...
