I am finishing up re-assembling my 2005 after an overhaul.
connected the rear indicators back up and the rh one works fine but the lh flashes too fast.
front indicators all connected as they should and everything lighting up, just lh is flashing much faster.
dodgy flasher relay?
I have some LED rear indicators to fit anyway, I was just trying my old bulb rear ones to check everything was working.

can I run bulb front indicators with led rear? If I fitted an led specific flasher relay would that then still work with bulb type front indicators?

If all the indicators are working, and it is just that one side flashes faster than the other, I think you have mismatched bulbs with different wattages. I can't see how the relay can be the problem, but I think if you fit an led relay (which relies on a timer to set the flash, rather than a bimetal strip) it should flash regularly both sides.

You’re right, I swapped the rears over and now the rh flashes fast!
I replaced the front indicators with some flexible ones During my bike restoration and looking at them the bulbs are only 10w rather than 21w, I guess for some reason one side doesn’t have enough resistance to function correctly. Strangely both rear indicators have 21w bulbs but seems to effect it when they are swapped!
will try an led flasher unit.
