Carb Air Screw
Permalink

I am a new member who recently purchased a 2006 TT250R.

I also purchased a new GYTR exhaust thinking (and K&N filter) it would just be a simple slip on no tuning process (same as my KLR with my Yoshimura & K&N).

Unfortunately, I have found out that the exhaust is super loud and also snap, crackles and pops on deceleration quite badly.

I have reverted back to the stock air filter and that helped a bit but I was also advised to adjust the carb air screw to restrict the airflow more and make the bike run less lean.

Can someone please tell me where the carb air-screw is located because I can't see same labelled as such in the service manual.  Is it the idle adjustment screw?

Can I access the air screw without removing the carb?

Many thanks

Martin

First of all Steve is to highlight the link you want to make open.

You will then be able to choose the left link choice in the toolbar above

In the "dialogue box that opens select it to open in a new window" and Robert will be your father's uncle.

Sorry, you spotted my error in relationship  biggrin

But a reader of your original post only has to highlight the url text and press insert to get your link open.

It is a matter of choice really.
