Hi Mike. Don't know it these are what ya looking for, there in china on an ebay sort of set up. I have ordered quite a bit of stuff from here through a friend. I live in Thailand and stuff out here for the ttr is hard to come by, so this is my best option.
hope they help you out, happy shopping.

I really could do with a pair of these, how much are they and how do you buy on that site?
Well found Daz
There are a few different designs of these frame guards for TTRs.
These look like original Yamaha guards - or an exact copy of them.
In order to fit the left-hand guard you need to have two special support lugs on the frame. Not all purple-framed TTRs have these and, AFIK, no blue ones have them.
I have a pair of those. They most definitely don't fit straight on my purple one, one side does, looks like i'll need to weld a bit onto the frame, so maybe next year....
Will the CRD models go straight on Brian? I don't have the lugs. Looking at some of these, I'm very tempted to make some!
My recollection is that the CRD ones don't need the lugs. This is what they look like off the bike - Martyn may have some pics of them fitted:
My preference is for the Works Connection type which are no longer sold. I have been in touch with the factory and they still have the patterns so I have placed an order with them to have a batch made up for Totally TTRs
It is still a lovely bike, but not now as pristine as it appears above.
Those shots are from the spring of this year and since then it has taken the pounding of a few badgers and trout tickling, together with a good many enjoyable miles and lots of red mud.

PS
A "badger" is when the rider is whizzing along and suddenly finds himself travelling half an inch above ground level through the foliage, as if chasing a badger.
A "trout tickling" is similar to a badger - but in water.

I would like a set when you get the batch you ordered....
So can frame guards still be got for the 2005 TTR?
I have been waiting since November for our fabricator to make a sample for me and, whilst I was away, he emailed to say he has a pair for me to look at. Quite expensive though as he had to have a couple of presses made up.
I am too far down the road with my fabricator to change design. I am looking at having the frame guards made up in 1.2mm "shiny" stainless steel.
I have had a look at the pre-production versions and am pretty happy with them. The only changes that seem to be needed are cosmetic in that the TTR logo that is going to be cut into them needs to be smaller and moved inboard.
Not a very good photo, but I made a "temporary" pair from Foamex last year. They were intended as a trial before I bashed the living daylights out of some 3mm aluminium to a "proved" shape. One has a slight crack... but they're still there. Took about 20 minutes (I know, it looks like it too) with a stanley knife, a hot air gun and some rigger gloves.

Has anyone ever seriously damaged a frame in this area? My protectors are almost unmarked after years of regular crashing on rocky ground. Bashplate looks like it's been in WW3. The spring loaded pegs generally do a pretty good job of protecting things in this area IMHO.
Or is this just about stopping paint from getting scratched?
Hey guys just had an idea on keeping the paint from being rubbed off the frame of 2005 TTR250. I had seen where CoreGrip makes anti-slip frame tape for other Yamaha bikes like the WR & YZF's so I thought I'd grab an 8x12 sheet of it and make some for my TTR. So far I like the look and currently waiting to see how they hold up. The CoreGrip product was 18 dollars (US) shipped to my door and took me about 30 minutes to make a pattern and cut them out. Just FYI in case you didn't want to invest a bunch of money in some metal ones. Here's what the right side looks like.
