You may already have seen in my brother Brian's recent thread about our last trail ride that I am selling my TTR250 I have gone through it with a fine toothcomb and its probably one of the nicest "white" TTRs that has come to market for a while. I've owned her for nearly 20 years, made loads of memories and f...
I had a request from a guy who is short in the leg (his description!) to try a lowered TTR. I fitted a lowering link, wound the rear shock spring off just a tad, reversed the handlebar clamps to allow the front forks to be dropped up through by 21.3mm, and fitted a sculpted lowered seat. This achieved a new s...

Hi All, I have a range of spares that are for sale. I acquired these spare parts when I picked up my TTR as the previous owner had 2 TTR's and kept spares if he should need them. Would love to keep them as spares but as I'm based in London and now moving, space is an issue! I currently have: - a silver wheel set...

Hi all, I am obviously new to this forum, and have never been off road on a motorcycle, although have been interested for a number of years. Recently I have had the opportunity to purchase a TTR 250 2004, owned from new, all original, never used off road, with very low mileage. The price seems reasonable...
I have a blue tank ttr 250. The bike does not charge the battery, i have changed the rectifier, checked the voltage at the battery with the engine running. no increase of voltage as engine revs up. checked the connections. The bike will last a days ride if i charge the battery. I suspect it is the stator...
Morning all, I was doing a bit of reading on the TTR gearing and checked what is currently fitted to the bike i've recently bought for comparison. It appears i have an 18 front and 57 rear sprocket which seems at odds with a lot of the discussion threads i've seen on the subject of gearing. I was wondering...
Hi all, I'm looking for a couple of parts that I either can't seem to find a part number for, or simply can't find. The first being the rubber dampener(?) that's mounted at the front of the fuel tank. I think these may be Raid specific, Part No: 4GY-24183-00. Does anyone who has done a tank conversion ha...
I know this is a reach, due to a progressive neuropathy issue, I am no longer have the ankle strength to shift anymore. Down shifting isn't the issue, up shifting is. I've tried Kliktronic electric shifter on a different bike in the past, they are geared more for street bikes. I am thinking my only other...
how lean to the TTRs run after installing an exhaust & airbox mod? I took the Bike for a quick ride & it didn’t sound like it was running lean, not sure if I’ll get a bigger jet insulation done before a ride next weeken, I wonder how hot they do run when they are in the leaner side….any thoughts?
Hello everybody, I am the lucky owner of a beautiful 2005 TTR 250. I have been using it on a daily basis driving off-road in the countryside since I purchased it one month ago.
