Hello everybody, I am the lucky owner of a beautiful 2005 TTR 250. I have been using it on a daily basis driving off-road in the countryside since I purchased it one month ago. I am desperately looking for a "Big Bore kit" to improve the performance of the bike. I sent an email to sales@totallyttrs.com and got a rapid reply saying they are not making them anymore at the moment. Any other option ? Thanks for your help !

With mine I fitted a wiesco oversize piston took it out to 280cc . The lighter piston livens it up more than the extra ccs . It has a staintune muffler on it . Best mod has been cleaning up the weld on the front end of the exhaust (where it goes into the head took about 1mm off the weld all the way round  ) I also opened up the exhaust port when I had the engine apart 

I opened up the air box a bit took the snorkel out and made the opening a little bigger 

It's kept it close to stock just livened it up a bit 

Other than that gearing change to suit you helps 

There a great bike that likes to stay close to standard might be why they were made unchanged for so long 

Not saying it's right but works for me

Nice bike and welcome to the forum.

Shorty header is a great upgrade.

I may look into the viability of doing another batch of 350 kits, but costs may have gone up to much, also we need to have them made in batches of 6, so would need them all to be allocated really.

Keep an eye out !

Ttboof, what is the size of the Wiseco Piston you did purchase ?
